About

This is the blog of the Early Careers Forum of the European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR).

Our aim is to increase the visibility of early-career contributions to prevention research and practice, and to enable a dialogue among people interested in disease prevention and health promotion.

We write about topics such as substance use (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs), obesity, diet, exercise, sleep, sexual health, and mental health, among others. We are interested in evidence concerning effective policies and interventions to prevent disease and ill health, including implementation and translational research (policy and practice issues), as well as aetiology and epidemiology.

The blog offers an opportunity for members of the EUSPR’s Early Careers Forum (as well as guest contributors) to present themselves and their work, including findings, methods, questions and ideas, as well as publications.

If you would like to know more about the EUSPR and its Early Careers Forum, including how to join, or you would like to contribute to this blog, please check our website for more information and contact details.
